Third-year student of Nanyo Academy, Shimei is one of Nanyo’s Big Four. She specializes in submission wrestling moves, throws, and joint attacks which she uses in conjunction with a pair of handcuffs she carries, and is also very proficient in making chi blasts. Her earlier life before she became a fighter is unknown, but is hinted as being tragic and painful. She has always fought for the fun of it, and considers herself no one’s woman. Presumably because of her dragon, she has a minor split personality; one is fairly shy and normal and the other is psychosexual.
Based on a manga cover for the series, Shimei’s wearing a frilly Gothic Lolita two-piece costume with a butterfly eye-patch, stocking, high-heels, leather gloves and a collar around her neck. She is supporting a silver-coloured crucifix on her right shoulder, which is draped in chains and a pair of handcuffs. I personally love her cute outfit and the detailed carvings going up the shaft of the crucifix. The “Original version” has Shimei in fully-black clothing and black hair, while the “Gothic Lolita version” is mostly white with black trimming, red belts around her waist and blue hair. It seems a little strange that the black version is the “Original”, since the Lolita one is the figure that looks just like the cover.
